Assalamoalaikum! I'm Saemah Shamim, an Arabic calligraphy artist in New York City and online Qurʾān Tajweed teacher. For over a decade I've been on a beautiful journey with the art of Arabic script and the Qurʾān — hosting calligraphy workshops in NYC, teaching online Tajweed classes for sisters, and creating bespoke Islamic art.

Before joining this course, I struggled to apply Tajweed rules correctly. Ustadha Saemah explained each concept so clearly that within weeks, my recitation became smoother and more confident.
