Not at all! The workshops are designed to welcome everyone, from complete beginners to those who have some experience with Arabic script. You will be gently guided step by step throughout the session. No previous art or calligraphy background needed whatsoever.

The workshop fee covers all materials: calligraphy pens, ink, practice sheets and your final piece. Everything you need will be provided on the day; just bring yourself and an open heart, in shāʾ Allāh!

Yes! All of my in person workshops and classes are sisters only, a warm, comfortable and welcoming space exclusively for sisters and girls. Online Arabic Language classes are also sisters only.
